After-Hours Care

Emergency Medical Attention If you or a family member is experiencing a severe or life-threatening medical emergency (such as chest pain, severe shortness of breath, or heavy bleeding), please do not wait for our clinic to open.

  • Call 000 immediately for an ambulance, or

  • Go directly to the nearest hospital emergency department. The closest emergency room is the Austin Hospital (145 Studley Rd, Heidelberg VIC 3084), which operates 24/7.

Non-Emergency Care Outside Clinic Hours When our practice is closed, we partner with accredited after-hours medical services to ensure our patients always have access to care. If you need non-urgent medical advice or a home visit outside our standard opening hours, please use the following options:

  • Doctor Doctor: Call 13 26 60 to request an after-hours bulk-billed home visit GP (subject to Medicare eligibility).

  • National Home Doctor Service (13SICK): Call 13 74 25 for after-hours home visits.

  • Victorian Virtual Emergency Department (VVED): Access free emergency medical care online via video call at vved.org.au.

  • Nurse-On-Call: Call 1300 60 60 24 for 24/7 immediate health advice from a registered nurse.
